Hand-eye coordination skills are essential to practice and learn in order to use the Hanvon as to my knowledge there is not a large touchscreen tablet by Hanvon, unlike Wacom. Greater care needs to be taken when storing the tablet when not in use as it is slightly heavy and quite wide (a cover or pocket will be adequate protection).
In the hardware aspects, its smooth and stream-lined form allows for minimal obstruction and looks quite good. Configuration is adequate but non-calibration options such as start-up and user preferences are limited. Button functionality is limited to four pairs of small pressure-sensitive pits on either side with a longer scroll-able touch strip below each set of four. On my experiences with the Hanvon Art Master 1209 (A4), the pressure sensitivity on the Hanvon is not as steady as I would like it to be and can be quite difficult to adapt to. The Chinese are also some of the most proficient imitators, which is not meant in any way derogatory (I'm Chinese myself by blood), but imitation can only get you so far. So, if quality is not an issue then "Made in China" labels are good money savers, but long-term reliable products such as your tablet should be purchased using all that money you would otherwise save.
Chinese products, while still cheap and good for "getting the job done", is made in much larger mass production quantities of lower quality than Western products. Of course, I have never tried Wacom for that matter either, but I STRONGLY recommend that you choose Wacom and not skimp on money for more reliable quality. For non-serious and non-industrial work it's alright, but to tell the truth I should've told my mum the same thing we tell our dad on his business trips about the pitfalls of buying products from China as opposed to Western technology.
